This is Starwest's nitrogen-flushed double wall silverfoil pack. Thanks to its unique nutty flavor, gourmet chicory recipes are innumerable. The roots are sliced, kiln-dried, roasted, ground, and added to coffee, imparting a nutty, slightly bitter taste and dark color.
